The Glass Slipper Upcoming Events

The Winter Session Story Time will start January 21st through May 20 and will be every Wednesday at 2pm. Please make a note of the change. Hopefully this new day and time works for many of you.



Open house on Saturday, December 6 from 3-5pm. After visiting Santa Claus at the Holidays in Powell (noon to 5:30pm at the Municipal building right behind us!) come in from the cold and enjoy complimentary hot tea and cocoa! Additionally, we will have an activity for the children and you will have the opportunity to check out The Glass Slipper if you have not had a chance to do so.



Holiday Etiquette for Boys and Girls by Nora Cline, Modern Manners-- For boys and girls ages 7-11. Class includes instruction on place setting, use of utensils, table etiquette and includes a "mock dinner" where the children put to use their table manners. Class size is limited to 10 students and is filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Call early to reserve a seat for your child at the table! Two sessions are being offered. The dates and times are Monday, December 15th or Thursday, December 18th from 5:00 pm. to 6:30 pm.

Cost: $18 per child. Pre-registration required & no refunds after 12/3/08

Holiday Tea Parties--We are currently taking reservations for Holiday Tea Parties. The holidays are a great time to get together with neighbors, family, and friends and what better way then a Holiday Tea Party at The Glass Slipper. Winter Scrapbooking Tea-- Tuesday, January 27 4:30-6pm. Join us for our 2nd Scrapbooking tea for grades k-5th. Each child will receive instructions on scrapbooking techniques and tools to create their very own complete scrapbook. Each child should bring 15-20 cropped pictures in order to leave with a complete scrapbook. If they do not have that many, they can decorate the page and place a photo on the page at a later time. The theme will be "winter" so this would be a great opportunity to have them scrapbook their pictures from the holidays. We will end the session with of course...a tea party! Cost per child is $20.
